What does Cloud Provisioning Mean?
Cloud provisioning primarily defines exactly how, what and when cloud solutions will be provisioned by an company. These solutions could be internal, public or hybrid products and alternatives. There are 3 delivery models that are distinct:
- Dynamic/On-Demand Provisioning: The client or requesting application is supplied with resources on conduct time.
- Post-Sales/Advanced Provisioning: The client is provided with the resource upon contract/service sign up.
Cloud provisioning refers to the procedures for integration and the deployment of cloud computing solutions in an enterprise IT infrastructure. That is a broad term that incorporates the policies, processes and a business’s goal in cloud solutions and solutions by a cloud service provider.
From a supplier’s perspective, cloud provisioning can incorporate the distribution and mission of required cloud tools. By way of instance, the creation of virtual machines, the feasibility of storage ability and/or granting access.
